Used as an online diary or as a newsgroup blogs are a very good marketing tool, offering a clever way to create a public image for a person, company or product. Blogging frequently helps binding readers and customers.
Writers use their blogs to publish all kinds of texts, be it a simple editorial commentary or a whole novel. This way, the author wins new readers and publishes directlyhis or her readership bypassing established channels.
